Who We Are

When I began the search for my first piglet 15+ years ago, I quickly learned shopping for a mini pig can be quite confusing. All the different breeds, prices and size labels had me incredibly overwhelmed. I was so scared I would end up with a 200-pound pig. The more research I did on the internet the more scared and confused I became. I finally decided to buy an adult pig that was bred. I thought that would ensure the size of the mom and we would then have our first beautiful litter of piglets. That began my love for mini pigs and my passion for bringing families together with their dream piglet. It inevitably become a family affair for us. My husband is very involved in helping especially in the area of naps and cuddle training. Now I have grandchildren helping me love on and teach the pigs.

One thing I have learned through my experiences shopping for, raising, and living with these amazing animals is that they can and will continue to grow up until 5 years of age. Skeletal growth is minimal after 2 years of age, but they can continue to gain weight throughout their lives, just as humans do. You will see ads and websites offering piglets that will be 15-25 pounds full grown, and that is misleading. There is no way to guarantee the weight of a piglet into adulthood. A 5-year-old, 15-25 pound is just impossible. Pigs carry their weight very differently. They have very dense, compact bodies. A mini pig that looks 20 pounds will weigh in at 40 pounds on an actual scale. A mini pig that looks 40 pounds will weigh in at 80 pounds.  A 75-pound pig is an extremely small pig!! A good indicator to size is height and body length. When shopping for a piglet look at the height of adult mini pigs to determine if the size is a good fit for your family’s lifestyle.

We are registered breeders with the American Mini Pig Association.  To register we were required to agree to follow the code of ethics and provide proof of age and size of our parent pigs including pictures of measurements.  When you adopted a piglet from AMPA registered parent pigs you can also register that piglet into your name with the AMPA, becoming a part of a community dedicated to education and improving the lives of mini pigs across the globe.

I am forever continuing to learn, educate, and advocate about these amazing, loving animals every day. I meet pig lovers from all over the world that share their experiences, knowledge, and love for these pigs. My hope is to share that combined knowledge and improve the quality of life for pigs by finding them their forever homes.

Note: You will see terms such as Micro Mini Pigs, Super Micro, Teacup Pigs, Nano, Super Nano, Pixie Pigs for sale in ads.  These are labels that breeders use to imply a smaller adult pig.  These labels have no standard or guideline so any size pig can be labeled as a teacup pig, micro mini, nano, pixie pig, super micro, etc.  It is best to find an American Mini Pig Association registered breeder who has had to provide proof of birth dates and photos of the actual measurements of their pigs.   It is always best to ask the age and the height/body length of the parent pigs to get the best possible idea of estimated size.  The AMPA has done that work for you and you can find a trustworthy, responsible AMPA registered breeder by

Meet The Parents

We adore our parent pigs! All of our parent pigs are registered American Mini Pigs. Many of our parent pigs were born right here. There is something really special about bringing them into the world, raising them as a part of our family and knowing the generations that came before them. We have a good insight into their personalities, health, and overall traits that are part of their family history. They have been raised on our Facebook page so many followers and fans have watched our Charming Mini Pig family grow up.
