Mini pigs are amazing pets that come in a variety of sizes and shapes. It is important to know that although they can be small adults they will never stay tiny. Pigs are very compact and dense animals. They are heavier than they look. Typically, they look 1/2 what they weigh, so a pig that looks to weigh 30 pounds would actually be closer to 60 pounds on a scale. They carry their weight quite differently that a dog. The American Mini Pig Association has provided some amazing examples of pig weight vs dog weights. Some of these pigs are not adults and may have some more growing to do.
